Second Annual American Style Congress
New York Dance Festival is pleased to announce the second annual American Style Congress! This event will take place before the NYDF on Friday, February 24, 2012. Please go to the American Style Congress page here in the site to find out more about this exciting event.
Early Bird Special
NYDF is pleased to offer an Early Bird Discount to those competitors who enter and pay in full by the January 14, 2012, deadline.
Adults save $5 on each adult entry. Juniors save $2 on each junior entry.
Entries must be received no later than January 14, 2012, and be accompanied by payment in full to qualify for the Early Bird Special.
Please use the Account Summary form to apply your Early Bird discount to your entries.
Entry Deadline
The final deadline for all entries is February 10, 2012
All entries received later than this date are accepted on a space-available basis only and will be charged a $20 late processing fee.
No entries will be considered without payment in full.
Any changes made at the Event will be subject to a $20.00 per change fee.
Open Scholarship Awards for 1st - 12th Places
Scholarship participants are now required to enter a minimum of 4 single dances in the same style in which they are entering the scholarships.
Dance Sport Series Championships A, B, and C
Championship participants are required to enter a minimum of 4 single dances in the same style in which they are entering the championships.

Dance Categories Available
“Open” Levels Through Bronze and Silver (no syllabus restriction). More “A” categories so that most “A” dancers can dance two age levels. Please see entry form for complete breakdown of categories available at each level.

Amateur Competitors May Enter “Single Dance Events”
Session Tickets Included for Amateur and Professional “Open Championship” Competitors
Amateur and professional competitors dancing in the “Open” events whose entries are received paid-in-full by the January 14th Early Bird deadline, will receive complimentary admission to the Ballroom for the session in which they are dancing. Competitors entering after this date will not be eligible for this offer.
